A screen adaptation of the novel about how an Irish girl goes to New York to seek herself and her happiness. There she settles in Brooklyn, where she finds friends and love. However, due to a combination of circumstances, she has to return to Ireland, and this visit calls into question a lot of what happened to the girl in New York. Starring Saoirse Ronan.
