Public library

Do not assume that stationary libraries have sunk into oblivion – the New York Public Book Depository remains one of the most visited places in the city to this day. This place is of particular importance not only for the notorious book lovers, but also for the devoted moviegoers. In the Public Library, the heroes of The Day After Tomorrow tried to survive the coming climate catastrophe, warming themselves with the warmth of burning volumes. However, none of the folios was injured during the filming – dummies were sent to the fireplace. The halls of the Public Library also flashed in episodes of other films, including “Sex and the City” (full-length film), “Spider-Man”, “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” and others.
